The name ekaterra means ‘one earth’. There is only one planet earth, and we all need to care for it. Our wellbeing promise to the planet has three pillars – in line with our ambitions to become nature restorative, waste free, and climate positive.

Becoming nature restorative

We want to help restore nature. Through the support of reforestation efforts, sustainable sourcing, and the use and support of agriculture practices that can help improve biodiversity and soil health and reduce fertilizer use.

Achieving waste free

Waste is really a chance for renewal. We’re committed to transitioning all brands to plant-based teabags and packaging that’s 100% recyclable or compostable.

Towards climate positive

We’re not only aiming for net-zero carbon emissions: our ambition is to remove more carbon than our business emits.
